Highway Cleanup

Saturday, May 4
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Join TVA in building a stronger and healthier community – for people and our environment! In Fall 2017, we proudly adopted mile markers 142-144 on Highway 33 (South Bates Rd. to 3000 S). We are excited to show our highway some love on Saturday, May 4th! We will gather nearby The Learning Academy at 9 AM. Look out for the final meeting place to come in your emails. Remember to bring gloves, warm and weatherproof layers, water, smiles and high fives!

Arbor Day Event – Celebration and Activities

Saturday, May 8
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fifth Street Skate Park

We will have a table with information and will be looking for volunteers to help with park cleanup. This is a great event! A great way to get outside on a beautiful morning and give back to your community.

Tin Cup Letter Mailing

We will be stuffing, stamping and sealing envelopes for our Tin Cup mailing to be sent out promptly after this event. We can use all the help we can get to get this done efficiently!

Pint Night

Grand Teton Brewing from 5-8 p.m.
We will be partnering with Teton Valley Youth Lacrosse Association to put on a super fun event to benefit both organizations! We need volunteers to help with activities, tabling, and more. We hope to see you at this super fun community fundraiser!

Teton Valey Resort Community Learn To Swim Programming

July
This will be community based learn to swim programming for your kids in the valley! Look out for sign ups and dates to come. We need lifeguards and instructors for what will be some great community based learn to swim programming! We are looking for Red Cross certified lifeguards and WSI Certified instructors with a diversity of experience and some years teaching. Special skills include Spanish speaking and special needs teaching experience. We will be conducting a background check for every applicant. The position will be a W9 contracted position. Pay DOE for both lifeguards and instructors. Please get in touch asap if you are interested in these positions!

Tin Cup Event Day

Saturday, July 20th
Driggs City Park, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Please join us at Driggs City Park (1st Street and Ashley Avenue) for TinCup Challenge Event Day! Bring the kids wth you! we’ll have our Balloon Popper game, water based sensory games, and other super fun activities for kids.

We will also need volunteers for walking in our 5k group, so please let us know if you will be there and would like to represent TVA with us! We will have a super fun cocktail hour to get our costumes and booth together before event day. Look for more details to come soon!

Music On Main

August 8
Victor City Park, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

We’ll be hosting a booth at Music on Main once again this summer! We’ll have the balloon popper again along with other sensory games for kiddos.

Bates Celebration

We will be revealing our Life Jacket Loaner Stations with our Bates working group this summer. We’ll have a celebration the day they are open to the public, offering free lifejacket use for our stretch of the river. Please join us!
