Adult Aquatics Activities

Adult activities are for anyone ages 10 and up. Activities offered in Summer 2024 are listed below.

  • Water Aerobics

    Enjoy a 50-min aqua workout incorporating dynamic stretching, cardio, core work and use of various aqua buoys that help with building muscle and body toning. All required equipment (water weights, noodles, dumbbells etc) is provided.

  • Tethered Swimming

    During tethered swimming, swimmers use tethers to attach themselves to one corner of the pool which allows them to swim in a stationary position. Tethers, kickboards, and pull buoys are available for use during tethered swimming.

  • Water Walking

    Water walking is a form of aquatic exercise where individuals walk in a pool to engage in a low-impact, full-body workout. The buoyancy and resistance of the water make it a gentler and more accessible exercise option for many, especially those with joint pain or arthritis.
